Hi friends ! I Was recently having a cuddle and pets session with my dog and noticed that right where his neck meets his torso there was one spot where there was a black ...thing ?? Idk. His fur is so thick its hard to make out - but I am assuming it is an old scab ? He only has the one and everywhere else on his body his coat + Skin are healthy. I wiped at it with a wet tissue multiple times but nothing came out, only a yellowish tinge hence i believe it might be an old injury. When i touched it he was in NO pain he was just annoyed i wasnt petting him lol. He also recently went to the doctor (2-3 weeks ago) and had a full checkup and nothing of concern was brought up. I dont want to rack up a $300 vet bill again so I wanted to ask here first if this sounds super normal and could just be an injury that healed ? He wears collars but they are not of any discomfort (he has never shown signs of distress) and he has a healthy, happy, eight year old doggo otherwise. TIA !!!!
