Hi everyone! I just adopted a 3 month old kitty. She’s very young and I understand this has been a stressful situation for her- being taken to a new place separated from her mom and litter.
I put her in my room to get her used to the apartment and my smell. She’s eaten and used her litter box but rarely drinks water. She hides in the deepest corners of my room and constantly and seems to be extremely scared. Every time I enter the room or she catches me looking at her, she runs away.
Does anyone have any tips to getting her to come around? I know she’ll be shy and scared for a while but I’m worried about her not getting enough water.
