I have two dogs and can't stand the idea of someone abusing them or treating them poorly. Many animals literally spend their whole lives just trying to love their owners and don't harm anybody. I would even argue that my dogs are more human than certain people. Obviously not in physical stature, but rather in the way they convey an emotion or have advanced thought. It's because of this that I find people who abuse animals absolutely disgusting. I've had to yell at a friend of mine for abusing his animals, and I think it should be than a misdemeanor in the eyes of the law. Animals can't speak up and defend themselves making the act of abusing them even more messed up. So please even if it's not seen as a problem in the eyes of the law, call out people who abuse animals because they are the real animals
