Should I get a second kitten?

I got him from the adoption shelter recently. I work from home so I have all day every day to play with him. Problem is I want my cat to be as healthy and well-trained as possible so he can be a champion. So far I've been able to do just that. He's on a raw diet, knows several commands, is taking well to outside leash training, and I give him an hour of exercise each day. Thing is I don't want him to grow up to be an anti-social asshole when it comes to other cats so I'm concerned whether he should have a companion around his age in the house. Thing is as a typical grown man, I feel that one pet is truly enough. The thought of having to deal with a second cat, even if it doesn't do anything, sounds dreadful but I know cats are social animals and like companionship.

What I want to know is: is another cat necessary for his happiness and growth?
