This is kind of an offshoot of another topic I started but one of the 6 and a half month old kittens I adopted last month has been biting my comforter on my bed over and over again. I have caught him doing it several times, and there were always these spots on it I had noticed, but never paid much attention. I washed the comforter the other day and put it back on this morning and he started biting it again, almost like he was trying to rip it up and eat it. This time I took a look at the new stain/spots where he was chewing and it looks like blood.
I checked him over and he was not bleeding from anywhere, so can kittens/cats, chew something so hard that they start bleeding for a brief period of time? If I take him to the vet would they have anything for him?
