I know some people tell other people that ways that they can become braver via facing your fears. Does this work with dogs? I know some people have inherent fears and they never go away but is it the same way with dogs? I believe my dog was abused by its first owner which can explain why it's scared of everything. Just today, hewas scared of a birds shadow that flew overhead, scared of any bit of lightning, scared of being alone, being in tight rooms and refuse to go in certain parts of the house, is anxious around new people where he runs away, etc. Also for some reason, he won't go outside to use pee/poop unless my GF is taking him outside and won't go out for anybody else. Even with my GFs Mom who lives with us who is insanely nice to our dog.
