I need to give my kitten ear drops for ear mites - can I warm these in water first? She will let me wipe the ears with a cotton ball soaked in warm water but that's as far as I've got at the moment. I'm worried now I've built this trust with cleaning them like that that she will not be so receptive to the ear drops, especially if they are cold. Could I administer the ear drops on the cotton wool instead? Getting her to the vet is a nightmare as she hates the carrier, I'm now trying to keep it in her living area and get her used to eating near it etc before she goes to the vet again.
