Have senior cat with kidney disease how to keep kittens from eating his food overnight

I've got a senior cat that has been recently diagnosed with having kidney disease. I've since switched his diet over accordingly per my veterinarians instructions.

I also have two new kittens and one of them is very aggressive about food due to being the runt and abandoned as a kitten.

Because of this he's practically throwing himself at any food or sound of food including my senior cat's bowl. While I'm awake during the day this isn't a problem, my older cat will let me know he wants to eat and I can put the food down for him and keep the other two at bay. But at night, at odd hours he's coming in and waking me up for a few bites to eat which wakes the kittens up and then a cycle starts and everyones awake.

My senior cat waking me up personally doesn't bother me, but I'm trying to find a solution so that everyone can still sleep and my senior cat can eat at his leisure like he used to before his need for a special diet.

My only thought is to build or buy a RFID controlled food dish but the issue is that the two kittens I have are chipped but my senior is not so it would work for the kittens but not for my senior cat.

Does anyone know if you can setup a RFID food dish to stay open but close when it detects a known signal from a microchip? I've looked but they don't get too detailed in programming.

The logic for this is reversed I know but since my senior cat isn't chipped and won't wear a collar, I'm limited on options now and wanted to know if anyone else could share some creative suggestions?
