I just got my cat neutered as well as surgery to get a hernia repair today. My cat is pretty attached to me and loves to sleep with me but my bed is about 4 feet from the ground and I didn’t want him to jump up with a fresh wound. Obviously I can’t prevent him from jumping so I tried to make the floor appealing as possible but he still jumped up. I’m so worried about his stitches ripping or loosening as it’s been less than 24h since the surgery. What should I do? I’m so worried. The vet didn’t tell me anything about no jumping but I did ask about stairs and he said it wouldnt be a problem. Am I overreacting??
