Hi! so I have a 17 year old cat who I absolutely treasure. She and I are very attached to each other, but for the last year and a half I've been attending university on the other side of the country. I just moved into a pet friendly apartment and my dad suggested I perhaps bring her back with me after winter break. I would love to do this as it would be great to have her with me, but I worry about the stress that it might cause her. Is it possible to move her to a new city away from her familiar surroundings? she would have me as a constant which I think could help, but I don't know if the plane and then a new place would be ok for her. I also worry about the climate, as it would a move from Vancouver (very mild) to Toronto (considerably more extreme). Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
