My boy just got neutered and is VERY angry about the cone of shame.

I’ve gotten him to calm down for the most part, and I’ll admit it’s funny when he tries to bite me like normal, but obviously he’s still not too excited about being in a cone, and I feel bad leaving him alone when I go to work (it’s just me and him right now). He obviously has had troubles eating, figuring out the litter box, and trying to play, among the normal running into things that comes with cones. I’ve tried the inflatable collar, but he’d rather thrash around and try to choke himself with it than work with it. I’ve googled around, and want to try to put him in a baby onesie (holes cut for his tail, of course), but I’m not sure how well it would work with allowing him to go to the bathroom. Would it be okay for me to put him in the collar when I’m away and let him use the onesie when I’m home? Or would that put more stress on him?
