I just got a hedgehog for the first time a few days ago for my birthday, and he was the last one in the store. Everywhere I look I can not find a hedgehog more defensive and mean than mine on the internet. Even when I put him somewhere and I backup really far, he doesn't move, he just sits there and looks around, then hides when I make the slightest movement. It's really discouraging and it feels like it's going to be months before he even lets me hold him. He is six months old, and I've been taking him out every day and night and he just is way too scared. I have a feeling he is just from a horrible breeder. I don't know what to do, and I feel like I made a bad decision. Please help.
