Really worried about worms.

So, I have a 10 week old kitten. My housemate just got a kitten, and a couple days after he got her I let the two play together. Turns out, the kitten he got has worms. The pet shop didn’t tell him, otherwise I would’ve kept them completely separated. He called the pet shop and they said they gave his kitten deworming treatment, and that on Tuesday she should stop passing them in her stool. But I am extremely worried for my kitten. She’s never had treatment since I got her from a friend, and she went in the other kittens litterbox. The other kitten hadn’t pooped in there yet from our knowledge, but I’m still extremely worried. I’m also very worried that I’ll end up getting worms if she has them. I have no job right now because of COVID and I’m already struggling, so I don’t know what I’m going to do with more medical bills. I am just so worried that the worms are spreadable despite the other kitten being dewormed, since she’s still passing them in her stool and I read the eggs are microscopic and can live for seven years. And I don’t know how easily it can spread to humans either. I am so unbelievably angry that the pet shop didn’t tell him about this because it would’ve prevented a lot of anxiety. I have a pretty bad phobia of parasites and shit like that so I’m losing sleep worrying I’m sitting in a worm infested room and that my kitten might have them.
