Please help. My cat was diagnosed to have ringworm 3 days ago, and ever since then we have been quarantining him in our secluded bathroom, with a litter box as well as food and water which we fill everyday. Also everyday, we try to play wit him with gloves and stuff but I’m either in school or studying everyday for most of the day so the playing is very small amount of time.
He continues to meow and meow, I think he’s crying. And sometimes he just goes through these depression periods where he cries and stays silent, and when we enter he just turns the other direction and ignores us.
I feel terrible, but the vet said he has ringworm which might take a month or possibly even several months to heal. I worry about his mental health, with him being trapped in a small room for such a long time. Will he be the same when he leaves? Is it unethical to be keeping him quarantined like this? Please, any advice/comments are welcome.
He is 2.5 months old btw.
