I've always wanted a cat but my older sister already fot us a dog about 4 years ago(female English Cocker Spaniel). Now I'm moving in with my father and my sister for college and I'd rwally like a Maine Coon male cat because they are big and beautiful and I've heard they get along with other pets. I'm also willing to adopt a cat. Should I even get a cat? My dog gets jealous when my father hugs me and I'm afraid my dog and a new cat wouldn't get along. I read a bit how to ease the first meeting and first few weeks but I dont want to make a mistake, but I really like cats.
