We've socialised them together and they get along great, however our dog is far bigger than the kitten and I fear he may accidentally hurt him. I'm fine to let them play when I'm able to watch them both so I can seperate them when the dog gets too excited. Unfortunately when they are apart they both beg for attention. Whichever one I'm not with cries until I come see them or I let them play again. The kitten is a little better as he's content to go off on his own, but our dog is relentless and when both of them are doing it, it's overwhelming. Any ideas on how to either keep them from crying when they're apart or teach the dog not to get too excited when playing with the kitten?
