I adopted my cat about 5 years ago and he is absolutely perfect and integral to my life. However, I recently got an incredible, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity in the United States that I can not turn down, so I will be moving in a couple of months. I'm based in South Africa, and while my family would be willing to adopt my cat from me, I don't want to part with him and am hoping to move him to America with me. I was wondering if anyone else had moved overseas with a cat? I've read a lot of success stories about dogs on planes, but cats seem to have a much worse experience. Is it worth the risk? TIA
