About two months ago I got a 5 year old rescue cat. He’s the sweetest thing in the world. For the first week everything was fine. He had seen a vet right before I got him and they said he was healthy. After the first week he began vomiting. It’s been getting worse ever since. I have taken him to the vet about 5 times now and we have tried everything from changing his diet, to nausea medication, and Prozac, nothing has worked. He was recently prescribed Hills ZD food but refuses to eat it. He eaten very little (about half a can a day) since we started this last Wednesday. I called the vet yesterday and a nurse told me he would eventually eat it and not to worry. He’s lethargic and getting very thin. I am not sure what to do. Is there anything I can put in his ZD food to make it more appetizing? Any thoughts on what might be causing this? Any help at all would be amazing. I feel so bad for my little guy.
