Bird cage placement help

I need some help figuring out where to put my new cockatiels cage. I will be getting her in a few weeks and she is a couple years old. She will be in my bedroom with ideally plenty of out of cage time around the house with me when im not at work. I can be a bit of a night owl so my plan is to wheel her to a separate spare bedroom to sleep. Do you think thats ok? My house is 2 floors and if it wasnt, i would keep her in my family room during the day, but sleep time would just be difficult on the main space.

My main question is cage placement in my bed room. When you walk in my room, across from the door is a wall with windows, to the right is a wall with 2 closets and a door to the bathroom, and to the left is the wall with my bed on it. I really like my set up and dont want to move my bed.

So my 2 options are to place her cage on wall with the door, which would give her access to see out of the window, but she would be able to see out of the bedroom door and into the hallway. My brother is unemployed and often walking (loudly lol) down the hall, which would be on the other side of the wall from her. Or, i could put her in the corner next to the window, which would give her access to see into the hallway and see what is making all the noise (my brother) but wouldnt allow her to see out of the window and she wouldnt really have much direct or indirect sunlight when in her cage while im at work from 8 to 4.

I guess my only thought was that she might be scarred all day with hearing the noises of the house but not being able to see whats going on. Also, my brother would not care to interact, so popping in to announce his presence isnt really an option.

Any ideas? I appreciate the help so much! Just want whats best for my honey
