Help! choosing and first time cat mom!

Since the pandemic started, me and my family became more and more depressed. My sister and I have anxiety and both of us got worse due to covid and all the stress that's running in our city because of it. So, seeing as how we have the right conditions, we did our research and decided to bigger the family bringing a cat. We are against buying breeded cats so we decided adoption would be the best choice. This is our first time dealing with cats.

We've found a guy that had two kittens and needed someone to foster or adopt them because he couldn't keep them at all anymore. My sister has allergies, so to keep it down we agreed that we would take the kittens home and take care of them, keep one with us and give the other for a good family that we have great trust on.

When the kitten brothers arrived, they where kind of sick, something about the place they used to live in and parasites on their mother's womb. They had mild diarrhea and vomited too, but we are medicating them after a good trip to the vet. They are younger then two months, about one and a half, maybe more, but younger than two. They do everything together. If one drinks water, so does the other. They both eat and play together. One of them can't even shit at peace bacause his brother likes playing with his tail. We named them Perseus and Achilles. It would have been patrocles and achilles if my sister didnt think patrocles was strange.

Perseus is the older one. Male. He is more afraid of people and even hissed at me once, but is now used to our presence, but keeps a very big distance. Even so, he's bigger and the most playful. Likes to drag his brother around and get him to play too. Meows all the time. Is the big spoon when they sleep. Has dark green eyes, white and brindle fur. He vomited more than once today. He purrs when recieves pets, but is quite afraid of us still so we dont force it on him. (My dad says he has a spot in his face that looks like a dick lol).

Achilles must be the younger of all the cats that guy had because that kitten is TINY. Male too. He's way more tranquil and lazy than perseus and just sleeps like a loaf of bread all the time. Almost doesn't move, but plays a lot only with his brother and is quite a foodie. He's very friendly, but still scared of us. (They arrived just a couple of days ago so it's reasonable that they need more time to get affection for us). He arrieved with some kind of wound at the top of his head and a crooked tail. He's better now. slept in my tight. Beautiful blue eyes and fur that reminds me of a siamese cat but he doesnt have a brownish face. Little spoon when they sleep together.

So, after some time, they are getting better. We have to make a choice and give one of them for another person because we can't keep both. We are NOT going to give them to anyone who asks, but for someone we trust and has a good heart. Its sad to say it and I feel like an asshole for separating them, but that's the best option.

Which one should I keep? How do I medicate them in the best way possible? How do I act when the chosen gets separation anxiety? How do I deal with this sickness they got? (Reminding that I AM taking them to the vet). what kind of tips do I give to the family that receives the other? Any advice is a good advice! I'm a first time cat owner so I would like to learn a lot!!
