So my dog, Klondike, is a pretty big dog. Not huge, but pretty big. He is really sweet though. He jumps on us, but we tell him no and then he calms down and we can pet him. After he remembers no jumping, we can walk right next to him and hug him and pet him. Super sweet.
I want to be more active and spend more time with Klondike, so I want to play with him. I'm not sure how though.
He doesn't know how to fetch. He has a toy and I could maybe try teaching him, but he is an outdoor dog so most of his training is just sit and sometimes stay. It would take a bit of work. And im not sure how active fetch would be for me to play.
When we had our other dog, they would play together. You know, play fighting like dogs do. I want to play with Klondike and be more active, but im not sure what to do and I'm scared of Klondike getting too excited and accidently hurting me.
Any tips for me?
