How to give two cats different foods?

Hello!

I have two tabby cats, about the same age. One of them is a tiny female who spends all day outside running and the other is a male who is average size and doesn't spend as much time outside. The male is gaining weight very rapidly and we'd like him to stay slimmer in order to avoid further health consequences.

I'd like to put the male on a more calorie-conscious kibble, but keep the female on the same one. How can I do this? The male will eat the female's food if we don't pay attention.
