Hello guys! My kitty was diagnosed a week and a half ago and was given subQ fluids which perked her up a lot. She did well with the food she was given and then I transitioned her to a different renal food because I can get it cheaper at the hospital I work at. She's never been picky however this time she seemed to be. She would eat but she would try to go as long as she could before she'd try eating again. Earlier today I bought her the food she really liked by Hills and she ate it right up.
I would call the hospital I work at but of course it is not open.
Tonight after eating the food, she started showing symptoms of being out of it--lethargic.
She's eaten a lot and I'm just wondering if this will go away by morning, what can I do for her now? Or is just something that is going to continue to happen because of the disease?
She has not been drinking like she was before she got diagnosed.
