Okay so let me start by saying i wash the couch covers every couple of days. I cant stop him from sneaking on to the couch. But every day, he sits on the couch, growls at his butt and then licks a wet spot on the couch that smells like rotten fish. I been to the vet twice and she said nothing u can do but get him groomed and his butt cleansed so i keep doing that and it doesnt stop this. I gently wipe his butt every day after he poops but his butt still squirts this nasty smelling fish juice everywhere on the couch and carpet!!
