I've come to a difficult crossroad. I will be starting a new job soon that will have me traveling 1-3 weeks at a time; my dream job. The issue is that I have two cats.
I have an automatic litter box and water fountain, and would happily purchase an automatic feeder and a camera to be able to remotely monitor them. I have friends/family/landlord willing to come check up on them a few times throughout the week.
My questuon is: will that be enough? If not, what else could I do? I read cats can get separation anxiety. I'm not so selfish as to lower their quality of life just so I can have some cuddly cats for my weekends off, so I do have someone that will take them in if needed. But if there's anything I can do within reason to avoid that, I would prefer to keep them.
