a couple of days ago my partner and i adopted a 5 month old kitten from the county humane society. ive had cats all my life but have 0 experience with microchips. little guy is microchipped and i think i may have just felt it? the feel worried me a little so i did some googling and i think thats what it is. its maybe half an inch long and feels very thin, like a long grain of rice
ive read that its usually supposed to be implanted between the shoulders but his is right on the side of his shoulder. i also read that they can kind of migrate but is it ok for them to do so? were scheduling a obligatory vet visit soon since he just came home, just want to know if its something i need to ask the vet about??
