I have had my sisters dog for the last year. Some hard stuff happened in her life and I ended up his carer. After a while I said yes to making it long term and have understandably become quite attached. Now almost a year on I think she wants to take him back. He was overweight and unhealthy; now healthy and fit. I received no help financially and as pet owners understand it can be quite costly, although money aside I love him to bits and want what’s best for him. Any advice would be so appreciated, I am a bit lost about what to do.
