I’m 16 and have no animals of my own, I will be moving rooms soon to one disconnected from the house so I’ll have more room and privacy for an animal, I don’t have the energy for a dog or cat so I’m leaning towards a tank pet like a reptile or rodent, more so reptile though, is there any specific recommendations for a first time reptile owner to get? I was mostly interested in a tortoise or bearded dragon since my family won’t let me own a snake, I would probably want to take the pet out of the tank every other day or so just to be around it and stuff if possible, is there a specific animal that would work well for me?
