What to do with feral cats when caretaker goes to nursing home

Hi everyone. I have an elderly family member with some serious medical issues. She will soon need to move to a nursing home. For the past several years, she has been feeding 4 semi-feral cats. She has had the cats neutered and vaccinated. The cats will sometimes allow my family member to pet them, but they are generally afraid of everyone else.

I live in an apartment several hours away and have no outdoor space, so there’s no way I can bring them to my home as outdoor cats. I’m totally stressed out about what to do with the cats when my family member is ultimately forced to move to a nursing facility. I’m an animal lover and don’t want to leave the cats behind, and I’m really struggling with this. I’ve tried contacting several rescue groups, but no luck so far. I’d welcome any suggestions on what to do. Thanks.
