Obviously some people have.... But my 3 year old left a giant jar of trail mix in his room. My dog ate the entire thing. The only concern is the raisins obviously.
Everything I read on the internet seems pretty severe. My vet said I shouldn't worry with a dog as big as mine. Said that the grape toxicity is a fairly new discovery. Told me to immediately bring my dog to him if he experiences certain symptoms.
The thing that shocked me the most is at 70 years old he said he's never actually treated a dog with renal failure due to grape/raisin consumption.
