My (18m) family is going to be moving to a new house soon, and we’re thinking about possibly getting a new pet to go along with the new house. I think a cat (or two!) would be great, but my main concern is how they might get along with the two guinea pigs we currently own. I know it’s in cats’ nature to attack small rodents like mice, so I’m not sure if they’ll be able to safely interact with my piggies. Could they get along? And if so, how should I go about introducing them to each other?
