I tried googling, but everything I got was about constipation and she's not trying to poop, she's squatting to pee.
She's a stray I rescued and I think she's about 6 months old. I noticed when I got home from work that she's started squatting in her litter box like she's going to pee, but nothing happens. She'll squat for a few seconds and then get out and start meowing. I cleaned her litter box, and as soon as I cleaned it, she got in again and did the same thing. It doesn't look like she's straining or in pain, she just sits there. She doesn't have a problem pooping and I know she has today already, as well as peed, because her litter box was clean when I left for work. She's eating and drinking normally. I'm not sure if something may be wrong or if she could be trying to tell me something else.
