I’m in panic mode and just need some opinions on my cats situation.
My cat has been having trouble urinating for the past 2-3 days. I took her to the ER today and they could not do any tests on her because she was extremely aggressive. Option #2 was to give her medication. She has past history of having crystals 2 months ago and was given anti biotics for it.
This time around, her urine is only one or 2 drops and i’m extremely worried for her. These are the meds she was given.
Buprenorphine Pain Killers 0.5 mg. 1 syringe (0.12ml) by mouth EVERY 8 HOURS FOR 3 DAYS.
Clavulanate/Amoxicillin 62.5 mg. 1 tablet EVERY 12 HOURS FOR 3 DAYS. with food.
Prazosin 1mg. Half a tablet EVERY 12 HOURS FOR 3 DAYS.
Will these work on her? They never did any tests so how would they know this is what she needs?
She will be 3 years old in 3 weeks and will be spayed on April 14th.
