i'm going to be a first time dog owner and i am honestly terrified! i've had cats my entire life and have always grown up with dogs in my family but never had one of my own. i am rescuing a 6 mo old rhodesian ridgeback/goldie/border collie mix and get so frustrated trying to research food because theres so many contradictions!
i can't afford to feed raw ATM, though maybe one day once i've done my research. i am so nervous because i had a bad experience where one of my roommates picked up the wrong cat food while i was in the hospital and it ended up killing my cat because she had a bad reaction.
i'm extremely anxious and excited and would love any pointers!
