Have you ever rehomed a pet to help other parts of your family survive?

I rehomed my 8 year old rabbit to my mums so my partner and his dogs would not be homeless. They can't live together because of the clash.

I feel guilty and I miss living with her but I also don't regret doing what I did because now everyone is safe.

I feel confused and I keep emotionally lashing out because of it I think.

I might irrationally resent my partner a bit. Even though I made this choice.
