So I never thought this would be an issue, but my cat is eating my dog's food. She has recently lost a lot of weight (I use an auto feeder and put it up so the dog cant get to her food) and snacks on anything that she can now. How can I prevent her from eating his food/leftover crumbs?
Should I just put her in a separate room when he eats and then wash the bowl out afterwards? The problem with that is, he may not eat it all in one sitting and I dont want her to be stuck in a room all day. Also, he tends to only eat when somebody is home (another odd thing I noticed)
