so my dog has been the sweetest gentlest baby since we got him almost 11 years ago. but within the past few months hes growled at me a couple times and last night he got pretty aggressive started intensely growling at me and bit me. hes only a little dog (boston terrier and yorkie mix) so it wasn’t anything to be concerned about regarding injuries, but it upset me bc i’m just a sensitive person so the fact he’d do that honestly made me upset with him, and the fact hes getting old upsets me too bc i don’t want him to die although he probably has about 5 more years left. but anyways i am upset w him honestly and i don’t even wanna pet him or give him any attention. (my mom will feed him and take him out we aren’t neglecting him) but i want him to realize he hurt me, he just really upset me so i’m not sure if it’s like horrible for me to do this bc he is a dog and i guess it’s normal but hes never actually bit me before. and yes hes a dog so i’m not sure how effective the silent treatment will be but he usually loves attention so if i don’t give him any maybe he’ll realize lol
