Hi all looking for some information and advice. I want to put my 100 gallon aquarium on my outdoor patio (only gets direct sunlight for about 2-3 hours) and I’m wondering if there is anything bad or wrong about doing this. So far my research has led me to believe there’s nothing bad about this only I may have increased algae growth as well as some water loss due to evaporation as well as temperatures may get high in the water but I’ve seen you can just float a bag of ice on top to slowly cool the water. Are my fish going to be okay with this? Everything else on the tank is going to be normal as far as filtration and such. I’m curious to see if anyone else has put their aquariums outside and has any tips for me thanks!
