We recently introduced a rescue dog to our family two weeks ago. Before her we had 2 cats and one dog. The dog had been chasing the cats and has received bare minimum training from previous owners so we’ve been trying really hard to train her and teach her the rules. Now, my youngest cat had what we think was a seizure on the weekend. She had some drooling and dizziness like she was drunk. It passed before we even got her to the vets and has never happened before or since and poisoning was ruled out via bloods. The rescue dog just had what I think was a seizure too, wobbly legs and falling over, it lasted not very long.
Could this all be from stress? It’s been a big adjustment from everyone and it’s still really rough sailing. The thing I’m worried about is about two months ago I put out roach gel. But I put them in really really hard to reach places even for me to get. Like in really tight gaps or up high. Surely if it was from that it would of happened earlier and I highly doubt the large dog could get to any of it. Plus I think it was deemed pet safe. Two seizures from animals in one week is really worrying me. Any helped appreciated.
