So my cat sleeps through the night with us in bed and is fine. As soon as he sees me stir in the morning, he starts yelling and smacking me in the face. When I try to reach out to pet him, he runs away but then comes back and slaps me again once I close my eyes. The only way to appease him is if I move into the living and sleep on the couch for the rest of the morning.
Can anyone tell me why or what to do to stop this? He’s driving us crazy and I’m sick of sleeping on the couch lol
Edit: forgot to add that I’ve had him for three years and my husband for one lol
