I have a senior kitty; he just turned 16 years old. He also has arthritis, so with that and his age I try to minimize his jumping. My bf recently adopted a puppy, who is now 6 months old.
We already had to elevate the litter box because the dog kept trying to eat the litter, and my boy doesn't always make it into the box. His food was on a small cat tower, but now the dog can reach it and keeps eating everything. I moved the food to my bedside table, but have found ants on the food the past couple of days. I don't know where else I can put it and I'm so frustrated that my child can't eat freely.
Does anyone have suggestions? I'm honestly thinking about buying that personalized food bowl that only unlocks with a tag, but if I don't have to drop $150 that would be awesome.
