Taking care of a leopard gecko for a friend temporarily and I only have a basic understanding of how to care for it. I don't know if friend has been taking care of it properly. I think it is around 3-4 months old but some days it eats 5 mealworms and other days it eats 1 mealworm?? The temperature is right and it is shedding right now so I sprayed its enclosure and put in sphagnum moss for humidity. One of its digits is reddish/black so I don't know if there's any hope for it left. Also it seems very unenergetic and limp all the time. It is taking a lot time to shed and there is some shed covering its eye. I put it in warm water and tried to moisten the shed idk. Is this normal for a leopard gecko? What is wrong with it? Why is it so weak even with the right temperatures and everything?
