Hi guys, I need help, I have a 2 year old cat that is super friendly and loving he tries to play with any cat/animal he sees, he has never hissed or try to fight anyone, he was super friendly with my ex roommate's cat. Once we moved and he didn't have any other cat to play he was very sad and trying to play with my stuffed animals, I decided adopt another kitty to make him company, the kitty is in another room as suggested but every time my old cat sees the kitty he starts hissing and wanting to fight. I know they will need time to get used to the other, but he had never showed this kind of behavior before with any new pet he met.
What can I do?
