So I was reading the standard ways of giving a cat a paste through a syringe into their mouth, and that for the most difficult cats, you wrap them up in a towel and stick their head out. Unfortunately, my cat is like that and my sister and I have been having to do this method for a few days now. But right now, she's away and it's just me. I'm not able to do this process without another person so I have been trying to find ways to do it.
What I have discovered is that if I put the paste on her paw, she will eventually(and I watch to make sure) lick it all off her paw out of annoyance or something with it being there. Does that count as giving them the medicine? It's all gone and she licks it all into her mouth. Or do I have to put it in their mouth?
