We adopted our sweet girl two years ago. She’s a rescue and gentle and sweet as they come. She continues to have major itching/lickings/scratching issues that result in open wounds and bald patches. Ive taken her to the vet more times than I can count - he always gives her an antihistamine and antibiotics. I’ve told him I need a solution and not just a bandaid but he has never offers anything but a prescription.
Reddit, WHAT can help my good girl? Tonight she growled at me for the first time, I assume because she is so irritated and itchy and red. She’s been off her last bout of meds for about a month and worse than ever!
