Several years ago I bought one of those nesting dog toys with little orange egg shaped squeaky toys that dogs would take out and play with. I don’t remember the “home” nest, it could have been a squirrels nest or a dinosaur den…that part of the toy is long gone. The important things were the little orange eggs. There were three of them. My boy Buddy loves those balls but his brother (the jerk) proceeded to gut two of the balls to get the squeaker and stuffing out of them before I could save them. I got the third egg before it was completely destroyed, but the squeaker and the stuffing are being held in by only a little wisp of orange fabric and I’d love to find this again. Buddy doesn’t play with any other toys and he carries this ball with him around the house and to his crate to make sure his brother knows he’s got this one. I’ve tried other nesting toys and other balls and none are the same, he won’t play with them. It might be the shape or how they fit between his teeth, but I’m looking for an approximate 3” egg-shaped squeaky toy. I’ve been unsuccessful in all the usual online sites- if you come across something like this during your Christmas hunt, would you please forward information to me? Thank you!
