Had to bring my 14y/o cockatiel to the bird specialist for emergency care today. They'll call tomorrow til noon to tell me if he made it through the night. I feel like I am losing my mind. I have 5 more cockatiels but this one is special. I have him for so long, he is tame and very affectionate and he is my best friend, my soul pet. I can't stop crying and I feel like I would suffocate from fear and pain.
I am so scared that he'll die alone and scared at the vets but if I didn't bring him there he would definitely not have made it through the night.
Just wanted to share because I don't feel like talking to people in real life right now but still would like some encouraging words.
