I have become the crazy cat lady after inheriting a Momma cat and five of her kittys. Momma kitty is older (around 10) and her babies just turned a year old. I recently just started letting them go outside (it is very hard work managing six cats in a smaller home, they pretty much just hang out in my yard, and Momma cat was an outside cat before.) I would still let them in when they wanted to and last week I realized we had a flea problem.. I went out and got the basic flea spray, carpet powder, and I've even using a flea comb. I've been vacuuming multiple times a day, which seems to be helping, but they just keep coming back full force. I'm on a very tight budget and I am running out of options. Any recommendations on what I can use to treat the cats that's effective, and safe for them? Is there a flea spray out there that works the best? I still live at home, father works out of town, but he thinks I should possibly 'flea bomb' the house. That makes me nervous with all of the chemicals and such but I'm just completely lost. I just want the battle with these fleas to be over! Any advice is very much appreciated!
