We are seriously considering adopting a deaf puppy 12 week old female. (Unsure of breed but looks like she could be a pit mix of sorts). We have a 2 yr old male beagle lab mix who needs a friend since the passing of our other dog.
We have a home visit later this week. It’s obviously up to the rescue to deem us the right match too.
I’ve been researching and reading up on signs typically used, good training methods, crating, etc. so I have an idea of what to expect going in.
I’m more interested in people’s experiences, unusual circumstances you’ve come across, tips and tricks you love, and resources you have turned to for information.
Also, I always love pics of pups so feel free to show off your good girls and boys!
