Cat suddenly insane?

So, my boyfriend and I rescued this cat that I found about a year ago (named her Barbara) and she has had various behavior changes since we got her. Vets think she was anywhere from 5-7 years old when we found her.

When we first found her, she was EXTREMELY skittish. Every sound scared the shit out of her. She slowly came around, and since then she has been super chill. Before we fixed her, she would act like a little crackhead when she was in heat (scratching walls, randomly jumping around, making a "prrrrrrrr?" sound), and after we got her fixed she would have the occasional zoomie at like 3 am. Other than that, not much movement.

About a month ago, I started packing and she started acting like she did before she got fixed. Sadly, we then had to put my other cat down suddenly due to a blockage. (she wasn't the biggest fan of him, their relationship was professional at best.) Then we moved to my new apartment.

Ever since we moved into the new place she has been the worst she's ever been. She's climbing door frames, scratching up my couch, runs from me like she has no idea who I am and then 10 seconds later is getting as close to me as she physically can, chasing anything she can find, meowing at walls, etc. She's more vocal than ever; this past week is the first time we've ever heard her actually meow. She's also WAY more affectionate. This has been happening all hours of the day, not like her 3 am zoomies. Her eating habits and litterbox habits have remained the same, however.

Her crate is open in an easy to find location (she likes it in there) if she feels uncomfortable, and we purposely lived in the new apartment for a few days before moving her so the new things (like the new couch) would smell familiar. We also layed our old blankets all over everything.

Is this normal adjustment behavior? If so, how long is she going to be like this? If not, when will she chill the fuck out???
